Landlord Fees

We would like to clarify that these values are based on our average charges. Our fees will still vary subject to your individual property, rental value, portfolio circumstances, additional services you may require and our promotions at the time.

We run various promotions, please contact us to see how we can meet your needs. A final list of charges for your property will be provided on instruction of Redbrick as your Agent and signed agreement to our full terms and conditions.

The percentages listed below apply to the total rent or premium payable to you under the Tenancy Agreement and become payable when you enter into a Tenancy Agreement with a Tenant introduced by us.

7% + VAT of rent due for the term of the initial tenancy agreement (1st year)
5% + VAT of rent due for the 2nd year term of the initial tenancy agreement (2nd year)

Rent Collection (RC)

10% + VAT of entire term due in full at the commencement of the tenancy.

Full Management (FM)

14% + VAT of entire term due in full at the commencement of the tenancy.

Investment Portfolio Management (IPM)

10% + VAT of entire term due in full at the commencement of the tenancy.

£220 + VAT (advertising and marketing costs, undertaking viewings, share of cost of considering tenants’ applications & references and preparation of the tenancy agreement, and handling of the deposit).

Tenancy Renewal Fee

£125 + VAT (if the rent is increased)
£75 + VAT (if the rent stays the same)
£50 + VAT (if the tenancy becomes periodic after expiry of the initial term)

Tenancy Deposit Scheme

Rent Collection (RC) & Full Management (FM) – £2.80 + VAT per month for the duration of the tenancy.

Let Only (LO) – £50 per annum in advance + VAT[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_icon_box title=”Other Services” style=”icon-top” icon=”nt-icon-plus”]
[/vc_icon_box][vc_column_text]Gas Safety Certificate: £75 + VAT.

Portable Appliance Test (PAT): £60 + VAT.

Fixed Electrical Wiring Test: £180 + VAT.

EPC: £85 + VAT.

Paperwork to be prepared and submitted to My Deposits: £180 + VAT

Key cutting: £30 + VAT[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”” parallax=”” parallax_image=”” element_color=””][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_icon_box title=”Applicable to the Fully Managed Service” style=”icon-top” icon=”nt-icon-key-1″][/vc_icon_box][vc_column_text]Works under £200: Will be instructed without consultation with the Landlord unless otherwise instructed in writing.

Works over £500: Subject to 5% + VAT administration fee of total cost.

Additional Property Visits (2 per year included in service): £60 + VAT

Working balance for a property under Full Management: A working balance will be required at the start of the tenancy, usually between £300 and £600.

Vacant management: £100 per month (inc VAT) once a fortnight and maintain utility bill accounts as instructed.

Cancellation fee: £350 + VAT (If an offer is agreed by you, you instruct us to proceed with formalities and then you withdraw).

Overdue fee: Subject to Interest of 5% over the base lending rate of National Westminster Bank.

Additional copy statements: £30 + VAT for a minimum of 6 statements & £6 + VAT per additional statement.

Transfer of funds to HMRC on behalf of Non-resident Landlords: £120 per quarter + VAT

CHAPS payments to overseas accounts: £16 + VAT

Miscellaneous Duties: £90 per hour + VAT

Increased Administration fee for significant amendments to the Tenancy Agreement: £150 + VAT

Serving of Notices: £40 + VAT (Does not apply to Full Management)

Courts and Tribunals appearance: £180 + VAT per hour

Abortive Fees: 50% of the TM or PM fees (if an offer is agreed by you, you instruct us to proceed with formalities and then you withdraw) .

Arrangement fee for refurbishments over and above day to day management (if under Full Management) – 10% (inclusive of VAT) of net cost. (Arranging access and assessing costs with contractors.
